The scenarios are just to make you think - to put you into that kid's shoes a bit. The point is: the decision to leave early and or not play in a game is a PERSONAL one. Yes there are issues of loyalty to teammates and fans and the school, but there's also realities of LIFE. I'm merely trying to point out that football players are no different than anyone else - they have to weigh all the factors in making the big decisions. And like most people, family and career and financial security (huge financial benefits) will often often outweigh loyalty and competitiveness.

How sad that people see more than 50 words and are afraid to read something.

Twitter has made many young people basically illiterate and, therefore, sadly uninformed.

Most issues in the world cannot be boiled down to catchphrases or 140 characters....
