Our wedding cost about 3-400 $ and I was bitching about that. We paid for it ourselves but my dad did pay for rehearsal dinner at a nice restaurant. Wife and I ate burgers, her idea, to make it cheaper 
Everyone else ordered steaks and alcohol.
ETA: My dad is awesome for it and did a really good speech. We enjoyed our wedding and rehearsal dinner
ETA: Holy frick I was wrong. Wife said we spent close to 4K. She said flowers were 3-400 $. I’m dumb. I paid for it and still forgot, been 10 years though. I have a good memory, it’s jut short.

So rehearsal cost more than the wedding....nice. You didn't have a wedding reception?
