Wait, you both are giving him grief for a year in which was utter chaos??? The program was under NCAA sanctions. Vacated scholarships, bowl bans and complete uncertainty. Everything considered, going 6-7 was a hell of a job!!! Do you think Ryan Day could have gone 6-7 with all of that going on? Have some perspective. Again, what if Luke Fickell goes into Ohio Stadium and beats Ryan Day? You cant tell me, at that point that you wont be concerned.

Just one more thing, Fickell took a bunch of Ohio State coaches with him to Cincinnati and our defense hasn't been the same since they all left. Just sayin...

I think he'd have done better. Look at the job he did through fall camp and the first quarter of the season, and likely more than we even know the rest of the way, with everything going on this year.

What if we beat them 80-0? Your question is silly, and it's certainly not a valid one when selecting the next coach at Ohio State.
