So I take this is common? I don't work in a plant but what I do has me work for plants and utilities. I had to take required safety training for a major project I'm working on and that was spot on.

We have to do gobs of computer based training throughout the year. It’s OSHA and DEQ regulated. It also covers the plant’s arse in a lawsuit so I couldn’t claim that I wasn’t trained properly.
