Personally? Of course Obama didn't personally tap "Trump phones."
However, an independent FISA court may have decided that it was within the US's interests to tap the phones of individuals conspiring with foreign agents against the US, and some of those individuals happened to be working for the Trump campaign (what an odd coincidence that so many of his advisors have ties to Russia...).
