If you are bringing 3 rods have them rigged to fish differently.
One rod with popping cork
One rod with jig head and matrix shad to fish bottom
Pick your third bait bait to search water for the last rod. Spoon, top water, suspending twitch bait, etc...
Find moving water, drop offs, holes, points. Have to figure out a pattern.
