The best? Hardly but the guy has serious pipes. She's Gone is my fav song of theirs and both he and John sing lead on it. Hall is good as harmony as well.

He had a great voice. And during that period in the later 70s when Hall & Oates didn't quite explode yet, they put out some pretty raw sounding records. Listen to Melody For A Memory and I Don't Wanna Lose You from the album; Along The Red Ledge. ....that's some incredible music.
