I saw a picture of the mayor of Tijuana wearing a red hat that said "Make Tijuana Great Again"
LOL.
I think our government should have been more forthcoming in saying that these asylum seekers would be housed in camps while they await their hearings. That they would not be allowed to go free until their court date (catch and release).
These people aren't seeking asylum, they want jobs so they can wire money back to their family that stayed in their native country.
If they understand that they will not be able to send money home many will go back.
Its all about money.
