Those who hold minority views on this board hope and assure others that the views expressed here are not representative of LSU fans as a whole. In fact, because it is completely open, subject to low barriers for participation and there is a large, roughly random group of participants, there is no reason to believe it is not generally representative.

you state this as fact? c'mon nitwit, you have to be smarter than that.

there are a lot of reasons to believe that this board is not a fair representation of the fan base. MOST fans (numbers wise) have full time jobs, support a family, have a hobby and basically are way too busy to hang around posting on a message board. to even consider that this board is not skewed toward students still sucking off mom's tit and young adults with lower time consuming life styles is flawed at best. there is a sprinkling of us retirees and occasional posters but that's about it.

i'm sure there is a lot of overlapping of opinions in virtually all fan segments but there is no way this board, or ANY board represents the LSU fan base as a whole.
