Red Dead Redemption 2 trapper challenge question.

I’ve unlocked the “Gambler Holster” which is the first of 10 challenges under gambler challenges and I would also like to get the “Gambler Gun Belt & Gambler Off-Hand Holster“ (number 7 & 10). Do I have to do the challenge list in order to unlock these two specific items? Or can I skip the other challenges to unlock said items?
