I have my dad’s 3” full choke Belgian A-5. He shot steel through it so the damage is probably already done. I will try to find one of the newer barrels myself.

Yeah, I have read of a lot of people dong it and it messing with the barrel and potentially other parts expanding but I would imagine there have been a lot of old baws that just went for it when the lead ban happened.
