That plus a top ten ranking? That's a very good season by any measure. Pair that with the preseason expectations/predictions of 6 or 8 wins and i don't see how anyone could be upset with that. Of course they will be upset anyways..

I would be ecstatic with the record and how they did it with a total shite offense.

Would still be upset knowing with a competent OC we would have finished 11-1 and 12-1 after a bowl or possibly even in the playoffs but meh why be upset when we can settle for 10-2

“ preseason expectations up 6 to 8 wins”

When Joe came to us, my expectations went to 10-2. I never bought into the, we don’t have talent on this team stuff. A lot of SEC programs changed coaches last year and I didn’t expect many of them to become good overnight. Hell, if not for some coaching blunders on our part we might have 11 games last year.

If our offense can step up, there is no reason we shouldn’t be able to walk over the next three teams.

No. It’s just a consolation. Bowl games are meaningless now. I want to win a championship or at leasr get to the playoffs. Until there is a coaching change or Saban retires we will be settling for consolation bowl games. Need to make a change to have any hope of playoffs.
