This is not entirely true, and depends on jurisdiction.

But in general you don't want to be shooting people who are in your yard.

And I mean damn come on, we've got to ALL start understanding that there are some things we might have a right to do, but we still shouldn't do them. Of course this especially applies to the left, but it applies to people who are asking if they have the right to shoot protesters in their yard as well.
