I've already stated a full understanding of what has been done and the better good it serves.

I appreciate this thread and all contained herein. I have a camp south of the levee, and probably get to make 10 trips a year, and it has been a process to learn when the water may be too high to get to and/or use the camp.

As with all things, it is interesting where lines get drawn in the sand when this kind of money is invested, and who comes out on top. When and if this starts affecting those that thought they were protected, I'm sure things will change.

yes but it is simple..... the delta area will continue to subside. and until there is replenishment of material, the area will get lower and lower and water will infiltrate. I mean all of South LA is a delta. It is organic material that compacts, consolidates, and subsides. unless it is replenished, it will continue.
