My one hope was that Saban's pride would gnaw at him about his "failure" in the NFL as well as seeking Carroll succeed at Seattle.
However, he's perfectly content being a fricking legend at Alabama and ruling CFB as his fiefdom. "Total" control is what he had at Miami and he really could not get any more that that at ATL and his style will not work in the current NFL.
In other words, unless Blank gives Saban part ownership of the team, and Home Depot, he isn't leaving.
