2009 TD on history of LSU Neck
STTDB is not mentioned at all.

I remember hearing it sporadically in 2006 as filler and then the 07 Arkansas game was the game when Neck really took off imo. The student section did the OOOOoooooooo but I don't remember knowing any words at all. I think it evolved into a song played a ton during the 08 season with "Talkin out the side of your neck" being sung too.

I think the big issue in 08, as someone posted about was the "OweO" chants adding "cocks" to "you suck." When Morehouse and LSU banned that, the students would chant it and started getting played over by the band and/or PAs. I didn't help that the "frick you Spurrier" and "frick you Tebow" chants got on national television. So they banned "OweO" for at least a year.

In the place of OweO after touchdowns, Neck got played a lot more...and unsurprisingly "Bitch" was added...that was threatened with banning and may have even been banned for a game, but the old people loved it and the whole stadium was doing it.

SIDENOTE:
Get off your high horse there old people:
Here's the entire LSU crowd chanting "Assholes" during Tiger Rag in 2003
Tiger Rag was banned for probably 7-8 years. The band did not play it one time while I was in college: 06-11. Band brought it back 2-3 years ago. 2013 Tiger Rag

Suck that Tiger dick started to become more prevalent in 2010.
2009 Neck v Florida w/ "Bitch"
2010 Neck with STTDB

TLDR: STTDB started quietly in 09 (probably...I remember hearing bits and pieces), but really caught on in 10.
