I have no issue with hunters IF they're going to eat what they kill.....I have an issue with trophy hunters.

No protein ever goes to waste in Africa, even the trophy animals are used to feed villagers. Word gets out fast as the entire village will join in. Within hours, or at most a couple of days, a dead elephant will be completely gone. The bones, hide, and hair are used to create artwork and leather goods which are then sold back to tourists. One trophy elephant can generate $50,000 - $75,000 which is split between the outfitter, government, trackers, guide, conservation, and villagers.

I'd have no problem shooting 1 old, male baboon that needed to be culled. The commissioner sealed his fate by shooting an entire baboon family and posting the distasteful picture that went viral. Big mature male baboons can weigh up to 125 lbs and the teeth are longer than a lion
