2 penalties - 19 yards. In the early season, we stopped a lot of our offense with penalties. that stat line is really big in my opinion

I have to say, this team has played pretty clean ball all year. Obviously, they haven’t been perfect but yesterday was great.

things to ponder:
A) Cregg teaching them to 'hold properly'? I think so.
B) False starts and other procedural penalties: Credit Burrow (and CUM)? I say yes. First of all his cadence is helpful, he has a rhythm to it all from the huddle. Look back and Harris, even Mett... many times in the silent count they weren't quite sure what they were looking at, and took too long to get the feet/hands going for the snap. It kills the OLmen.
C) delay of game specifically. Credit some Orgeron, alot Ensminger with nod to Sullivan and Cregg. I'm assuming your run game coordinator (Cregg) and pass (Sullivan) are doing the personnel subs, which seems very organized. And the communication as a whole is smooth, except for SLU game. Even in huddle, we're breaking with 12s left.
Give some credit to Burrow; he's doing 2 things:
1. While play is ongoing, he's looking at sidelines getting next call (unless he ran the ball)
2. Watch him break the huddle, he's sending each squad out in quick succession and making changes as he walks into position instead of waiting for everybody to be set and looking everything over. He knows where EVERYBODY needs to be, AND what to look for in the defensive alignment which speeds that whole process up significantly.
