The Trump family made it's money by being aggressive and using the system to it's advantage.
Donald Trump has acquired what can only be described as "frick You" money.
He's hated for his successes. He's hated for his methods to gain success. He's hated because he doesn't coddle the Whiners and the "Why Not Me" crowd.
He has bypassed the traditional pathways to political power and has kissed only the babies he's wanted to. I doubt that he's kissed much arse either.
It's not backbone, it's his life habits and desire to win that irks the shirker crowd.
