This game is on sale on steam and I'm thinking about picking it up. Has anyone here played this game? Seems to be a single player RPG.

I have, and it's actually really good once you figure out wtf is going on...I really need to take some time to keep playing and beat the game. It's got a very interesting dynamic in how your group is made up. You have one character that you build as a partner to fight with. Your other 2 group mates come from recruiting other players "partner" npcs. People will recruit yours as well and you can get items etc while your person is out fighting. As you level you just find the little city hubs and click on a wandering spirit type thing and recruit someone new. If you think the character is shite you can go through an entire search to find exactly whatever or whomever you want.
at $10 you can't really go wrong.

It's a good game and that's a great price.

It's good, I played it on 360 back when and lost my save in the flood. Story is a bit nuts.
Game heavily favors playing the right way so matching your strengths to monster weaknesses will make most fights cake.
Item system is based on weight and spoilage.
It's a medieval RPG take on Capcoms Monster Hunter and Lost Planet game formulas.
