The Oregon Trail Generation is the mini-generation between Generation X and Millenials. It’s basically 1979-1984ish. It really is a different group.
this is my generation (born in '81), and i feel i got a good mix of exposure.
I experienced my early childhood in the 80s, so i got all the great cartoons, playing outside, early years of nintendo and baseball card collecting.
i was in my mid teens when the internet started becoming a thing, everyone started using AOL to pick up girls, porn was slightly more accessible, listening to hours and hours of free music via mp3, etc.
I think the only thing that i kinda missed out on is how fun it would be to be single in this day in age, given how easy it seems it is to pick up whores on tinder and similar platforms.
