Who knows when it comes to the MCU? But whoever has the Infinity Gauntlet is the most powerful being in the Marvel universe save for the Living Tribunal and the One Above All.
In the comics Thanos fought and easily defeated the pantheon of cosmic beings. What eventually beat Thanos was his own arrogance.

Infinity Gauntlet was so, so, sooooooooo good.
Thanos- by his very nature- has issues with his subconscious. He can acquire infinite power. But deep down he knows he is unworthy to possess it.

Didn’t Doom beat Black Panther when Panther had the gauntlet on? Doom was God status for a while.
