All I could do was shake my head and now I make the 4 hour trip every fall to clean out their gutters.
ETA: Mom had a heart attack going on 3 years ago now too BTW. 70% coronary artery blockage 2 locations at the time. Roto-router and snag clearing and she's really been fine ever since, plus a story to tell, and retell, and retell, again.
