If you book an inshore charter in Venice everyone on the boat has to buy a $250 permit?
Only if you want to fish Parish owned or controlled property. It's not a permit, it's a processing fee for a liability waiver. I'd like to know how often you have to sign this waiver.
Even though I don't believe this will actually happen it's just another reason for people like me to avoid the hassle of inshore fishing in Plaquemines Parish. I used to spend thousands of dollars every year on lodging and fuel. Now I spend zero. Enacting this into law could lead to other Parishes doing the same thing

What is this and how much of it is there? Does the parish or state own the waterways?

This is like opening Pandora's box. I can totally see other parishes doing this exact same bull shite. $250 processing fee? Frick those motha frickers
