Only if you want to fish Parish owned or controlled property. It's not a permit, it's a processing fee for a liability waiver. I'd like to know how often you have to sign this waiver.

Even though I don't believe this will actually happen it's just another reason for people like me to avoid the hassle of inshore fishing in Plaquemines Parish. I used to spend thousands of dollars every year on lodging and fuel. Now I spend zero. Enacting this into law could lead to other Parishes doing the same thing

This is like opening Pandora's box. I can totally see other parishes doing this exact same bull shite. $250 processing fee? Frick those motha frickers
