1) It’s not LSU’s responsibility to raise your daughter and teach her right from wrong.

2) If you can’t teach her that there are words that she can’t say, then that’s your fault as a parent.

3) You’re kidding yourself if you think your 13 year old hasn’t heard those words before.

4) If you don’t want her to hear it then stay at home. It’s a College football game.
wow. That's a pretty shocking defense of a really bad student chant.

All of your points could also apply to just about every other place she goes: school, church, restaurants, stores, concerts, games, etc.

Should she have to hear that kind of garbage at all those places too?

It is a college football game. It is 90,000 people who just got done tailgating trying to get pumped for football.

How can you not distinguish this from Church, Schools or a restaurant?

The point is- the song has become engrained in LSU and it's ridiculous that the Students/Band/Players (THE ACTUAL PEOPLE WHO MAKE UP THE UNIVERSITY) can't enjoy it because you don't your daughter to hear naughty words.

There's a real world at there and you can't shield her forever but its fine, if you don't want her to hear it then don't go to the game.
