Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers scene where Aragorn kicks the orc helmet when they are searching for the hobbits, he legit breaks his toe and his scream was 100% genuine and kept in the final cut

Wasn't the scene in Fellowship where Aragorn was fighting the orc something similar? When the orc throws the blade at him and he knocks it out of the air with his sword, wasn't that a real blade that was thrown or something like that?
