NO IT WASNT. When this protest started in 2016, Kaepernick’s sole reason was wanting a process of investigating police shootings of black men. Guess what. That was already happening. Obama had already instructed Loretta Lynch and the DOJ to fully investigate all police shootings. A black president and a black attorney general were literally doing - and had been for some time - precisely what Kaepernick was asking for. He was just too stupid to realize it
