I built an under seat one for my F150. I have the sub on the passenger side so I could only do the partial width of the seat. It holds my 870 with the barrel off, and any 1 of my lever action rifles. Plus storage for a camp shovel, hatchet, ammo, first aid kit, etc.

My tiny commuter car has hidden compartments everywhere. The one behind the steering wheel holds a glock 29 and a few spare mags perfectly.
