I'd be happy to pair your anecdote with my experience; I watched it in 2-hour blocks over the course of a week and was riveted the entire time. The finale was an all-time great.

Maybe a binge watch is easier I dont know. Im not going to try and convince somebody to not like the show, I can see how people like it. Amy Adams was great too (although how incredibly horrible she is as a reporter/journalist is laughable).

But there is zero argument against it being an incredibly slow show. I love a slow show, but this just didnt move in the way it could have.

There were entire episodes that could have been completely left out and you wouldnt have missed a thing with the overall story.
