Finished the Houston Half today in 1:49. Had a heart to heart with myself at the Full-Half split that next race I will be taking the full route.

Furthest run is 16 mi, got a ways to go.

Congrats.

Finished the Full yesterday. Running with my wife we hit our goal. It wasn't to see how fast we could run it. It was to see how fast we could recover from it.

I feel fine today. I'm not walking funny. I didn't develop any new injury. I can walk up and down steps like it was leg day at the gym. I'm able to keep up with the kids afterwards. So I have no complaints. The weather was absolutely perfect too.

A lot can be said for going out there and pulling back, stop and visit with family that come out to watch, and be able to function the next day. We didn't start a stop watch or check out times yet. It was for her to check off no. 19 for Houston. One more to go and then it's Halfs from here on out.
