I still can’t find a plan I like. Jay Johnson’s Simple Marathon Training is good, but involved. I may give it a try.

Another thing, I’ve got to work on my nutrition. For my 20 miler and marathon, I ate two clif bars and a cup of coffee for breakfast and then ate gels throughout the run. I’d like to get a little bit more out of breakfast for the long runs.

Everyone is different but cliff bars have soo much added sugar, feel like that would throw me off. I like whole wheat or Ezekiel bread toast with a healthy peanut butter, honey, and cinnamon before a longer run or race. Could throw in a hard boiled egg for a little protein.
