Would've been the greatest season in the history of college football. LSU beat two other BCS bowl winners. They got lucky with Bama missing so many kicks the first game, but that's football. Only Bama would've ever been voted back in and they were. If the role was reversed and LSU was the team who hadn't won their division let alone conference, we do not get the rematch. It's the single greatest F you that's ever happened in my opinion. No credit for the road victory in the game of the century. And then for voters to take the best season in Okie state history and basically say it doesn't amount to a second place division finish is so freaking messed around. I don't care who you are, it's not easy and is downright next to impossible to beat a nickel saban coached team twice in row especially in one year. We had no shot in that title game. And we were robbed of our place at the top of the mountain in terms of greatest team ever. And in the resulting fallout this program has simply never been able to recover from it. That title game is the stigma that was created here and it lingers on this much later on. It tarnished Les miles career and made him near unhirable, it stole our best season ever, and it made Bama the true dynasty that they've become today. The biggest screwjob to ever happen in the history of football.
