i have never really cooked with okra. I will eat it but I have a memory of my buddy cooking frozen okra in the microwave and it would be so slimy and grossed me out.
When you cook with okra like this, will it be slimy?

There’s a way to keep the slime factor down. After you cook it down the first time, you can squeeze it through some cheese cloth and that cuts down on the sliminess. Then just add it back to the pan/pot. It won’t lose flavor. Just slime.
