I guess it just seems nitpicky.
I read the book it was fun but sloppily written in parts.
The movie was fun but sloppily paced in parts.
Both got the point across to me that the real world sucked in those settings. And I feel like I'm about as average Joe as can be.

Yeah, it's pretty nitpicky. Just discussion.
I'm not very average when it comes to this tech, I'm a tech nerd that messes around with a lot of VR stuff that has potential to be similar to the Oasis.
