The fact that there's a birthing/maternity tourism industry at all shows that the system is clearly being exploited. Pregnant women from other countries come here in their 9th month with the expectation that their ticket will be punched if they drop their baby while here in the US, since it'll be a citizen. Makes me want to vomit.

Certainly - another issue that needs to be settled is the "asylum" category. Asylum ought not be conferred if you are standing in a country where you have already escaped whatever you are seeking asylum from.
Central Americans flooding our southern border thru Mexico should have to seek their asylum in Mexico.
