You are also forgetting Williams redshirted due to size his freshman year, you don’t think his frame played a part in him not being ranked higher?

Don't know and don't care what played a part in his not being ranked higher. But, this helps make my point. You can't rely solely on recruiting rankings. You can go by how much they help their team in college and if they play in the NFL.

Speaking of the NFL draft, go look at how many top 100 recruits are projected to be in the first round. I sure see a lot of former 5 stars in the mocks

Good. I'm not saying they are NEVER right but I would bet a lot of money they are wrong more than they are correct.

"So Drew Brees & Marques Colston didn’t Rank NO stars. So These two Men carried a Franchise to the Super Bowl BUT...Completely missed in the Recruiting Game! "
So Drew Brees & Marques Colston didn’t Rank NO stars

I think this guy was the leading rusher in the NFL last year:
LE’VEON BELL was a two star Recruit...don’t let the system dictate who you are...#Grind
LE’VEON BELL was a ???? Recruit...don’t let the system dictate who you are.

The information below is from JUST the 2017 NFL pro bowl.

Tom Brady wasn't a ranked prospect coming out of high school.

did a little research surrounding this year's Pro Bowl roster. He found 37 of the 88 players headed to the NFL Pro Bowl were 3-star or lower recruits. Interesting stuff.

Being able to run wildly east and west, and out athlete to beat defenders in high school doesn’t always translate to the college game well. So watching a highlight real of lower level competition proves nothing at this point.

Cain’s film, however, displays a running style that is college ready. He sets up defenders into blocks beautifully,, has amazing power and balance, and best of all has elite vision.

For anyone to knock Cain as anything less than elite is foolish. He shared the backfield with the top rated back for 19 and a top four back that enrolled at OU in 18. His touches should increase his senior year. Look at his sophomore film when he was the feature back. Kids a beast

You know how many kids play high school football? They cant scout each and every high school in the nation.

35 of the 80 players named to the Pro Bowl (43.8 percent) were rated as either 5-star or 4-star players coming out of high school per the 247Sports Composite

2017 NFL draft picks sorted by their @247Sports Composite recruiting ranking: 5*: 23 4*: 76 3*: 90 2*: 26 Unranked: 38

Sure seems like the recruiting rankings do a pretty good job

Now do a list of four stars and five stars and the ProBowls they’ve been to, since you like lists.

For fricks sake. You’re just as dumb here as the rant. No shite there are a bunch of 3 star kids making the pro bowl. Do you even know how many kids are given 5,4,3 stars, etc? If you chart them out by percentage of each class that “make it”, it is very obvious that they do a great job with the rankings. They don’t hit every one perfect, but they do a great job.
