Depends on where you’re at and how much it costs to get oil near you produced or imported in.

Also yes, taxes and fees at the pump of course make a huge difference.

But there’s this misconception that OPEC sets the price of a barrel and this suddenly sets the price of gas everywhere, and that’s just ridiculously false.

Arent they drilling off the Cali Coast

Thats why im surprised its so high if they are. I thought the tax was .30 a gal so figured we be at 3.50 not 4

Lot of good info Beef, thanks. And you are very correct about this, just ask Venezuela what they are selling oil for now....At least whats left after they give a good chunk of it to Russia and China for repayment of loans, and charging a nickel US a liter to the public aint helping either, course a lot of Columbians are thankful for the bootlegged fuel.
