What about Garnett and Allen going to the Celtics in 07?

I’m so tired of this lazy myth. Both of those players - well all three actually, were past their primes. They reacted to free agency and came together to win.

The Heat formation was a different monster - three 23 year olds independently from their teams, conspired together at the olympics to ensure their contracts were up in 2009 so they could sign with the same team. Riley was made privey, and opened up the space to make it happen. It was a planned move years out, circumventing the Cavs and the Raptors, to get three best friends in their primes together to win “not 1, not 2...ok 2”. So yeah, Lebron, my beloved Laker, shares in the blame. Anyone who denies this is being retarded.

GS, as a TEAM, isn’t breaking the game. The GM is just doing his job. The core three were drafted and bred at GS. Durant is the one to blame for stacking GS. GS would have been retarded to NOT offer for him if he was interested and willing.

Same with Boogie if it is true no one else offered.
