Sky is good but it makes the racing so predictable and boring. Maybe a cap on salary is one option to slow this trend. I’m not really sure what the UCI and cycling do to handle this yearly problem at the Tour. One team controlling the entire peloton each and every day that matters is impressive, but doesn’t attract any new fans. It’s stale at this point. Hell, I hate to say this, but give me the EPO jet fueled days! I knew I was watching a clown show, but at.least the racing was exciting and I still remember a lot of those stages. Btw...this isn’t a
pro-doping stance.

I think what people don't want to admit is that winning the GC is fricking hard. You have to be an elite climber and an elite time trialist, and there are simply too few of those. So what we have are a bunch of guys that are playing for a podium finish and hoping Froome crashes out, because they know they're going to lose 1'30" to him in the ITT or whatever.

I remember when riders first thought they could challenge USPS solo, and learned a hard lesson when Hincapie, Heras, Hamilton and company would just chew them up and spit them out.
