I would not place the blame on the parents attempting to cross with their children.

The blame goes on the people in those countries recruiting the illegals.

Someone does not just wake up one day in Honduras and decide they are going to walk to the US.

They are being recruited, using fake news to convince them it is easy, it is safe, they will achieve all their dreams in America. Become citizens. Free school, food, healthcare, etc.

Some broke peasant in a 3rd world country is not watching CNN or reading updates on Facebook to know what is going in the US. They don't speak the language. They have no clue what they are getting into. They just know that someone promised to get them and their children into the US for $5k or $10k.

The people who should be held accountable are the people doing the recruiting.

Texas Republicans? Seriously though, its their own friends. One travels here, works, tells friends and family. It isn't really hard to understand.
