I refused to pull forward once, but I was in a real shitty mood already. Otherwise I usually pull up.
I will never forget the look on the girls face, when I said no to her request to pull up. She called the manager over, manager repeated the request as if I didn’t hear it the first time. Then she refunded my purchase amount, but I already had my drink, so I ended up on the better end of the deal. I pulled away to the competition across the street, had my order and was on my way, before the car that was behind me received their food whilst pulled up.
I probably wouldn’t have refused, if I hadn’t already witnessed all the cars that had pulled forward ahead of me receive their orders in the exact order that they pulled forward. Nothing had been gained by the whole pulling forward exercise. It’s not like one of the cars in back got their order and was able to go about their day before one of the cars ahead. I realize that may not be the case every time, but in this particular case it’s how it was.

But why? You don’t get your shite any faster. It just means the people behind you ordered something that’s already ready and the are actually cooking your stuff. It doesn’t take any longer for you.

I especially hate when at 2am Burger King asks you to back up so they can put their magnet on a string over the sensor in the ground to cheat their timers.
