That was exactly what drew me back into it in the late 80s. All hard rock before that period was mostly a dude ranch situation but it eventually became the preferred music of tube dress-wearing girls. Stripper wannabes. I had distanced myself from it when I was a kid but then I got dragged to a multi-band club show and was blown away by the amount of girls there. They were drunk, they were hot and they were all horned up over the guys in the bands. It was a dream set up for the consolation prize guys in the audience. Ducks in a barrel.
