I think most critics would be fine if he didn’t “hammer” Kim. The problem is, Trump all but apologized for him. Trump should have said that Kim’s human rights record is atrocious and it’s something we’ll prioritize once we address America’s safety after NoKo denukes.
Instead, he says some stupid shite about there being a lot of bad actors. It’s not that fricking hard.
