Here he was being persecuted and he decided to back down instead of stand up for what he believed in.

Why only seek legal action? He would have had a slam dunk case if he would have been punished for delivering the unedited speech.

Ive heard plenty of public school speeches that thank God. Wonder why this one got singled out?

Because this didn't actually happen. Or at least not the way he's portraying it.
