My wife and I are going next month and doing something similar. Journey concert at Coors Field first night. Explore Denver Sunday, Mt Evans and RMNP Monday, Astros/Rockies Tuesday, come home Wednesday.

Evans and RMNP in one day is going to be a looooooooooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggg day.
From Denver to Evans to RMNP through the park to Estes then back to Denver is probably about 9 hours of driving time. Add time for stopping to see stuff and eat and you’re at over 12 hours easily.
