VA medical system should be shut down, for sure. Medicare is a mess as well and I would not want to see Vets transferred to that system - it may get shut down in the near future too. I believe that if we started early retirement at the VA and closed facilities, that we would save so much that we could just about give free medical to all Vets currently enrolled at the VA.
