One thing I will never understand. Top level guys making zillions when the laborers make shite pay, leading to a lower talent level, lower morale and higher turnover. All of which cost the company big money.

I know a guy in the home healthcare industry who is makes a ton of money, but is cheap af. Like losing his fricking mind from stress when CMS or some insurance company checks up on them but I guess he'd rather lose sleep every night versus taking a small paycut and actually hire the right people for the job. I'm sure he'll be glad to have saved that money when CMS hits hit with a 6 figure fine and he loses all his contracts because he was too cheap to staff his operation adequately.

Why stress when you don't have to? Life is short.
