Unless Jessie is flying critically ill patients to surgery or flying organs to transplant surgery non-stop around the globe he cannot justify this when there are other means of travel. If he were spending a portion of this kind of money on a global TV network and bringing the satellite feeds to the lost in nations where Christianity is not welcome then he may be able to justify raising these type of funds. God does not bless us for storing up wealth for ourselves while on earth. We are to store up our treasures in Heaven. This is done by witnessing for Him and by spreading God's word. God's idea of treasures in Heaven are eternal life free of sin, disease, pain, suffering, etc. God does not punish us for being successful while on earth as long as we use those riches to bless and help others. We are required to be good stewards of what is provided to us. But, God does warn us about the accumulation of wealth to serve our own self. Also, remember that money given to Jessie's ministry is given as a tithe or offering fully belonging to the work of the church and not the work of Jessie's lifestyle. To maneuver church funds for personal gain is not a Godly lifestyle that will be punished. Only Jessie, and God, really know the whole truth. But, those giving to the ministry are just as responsible to be good stewards of the finances and resources provided to them. They will also answer for the choices they make in providing wealth for a single minister when they could also provide help and aid to someone in need. In short it is very discouraging to Christians to see this type of behavior and not know for sure how God will judge this. But, if your minister is building mansions for himself, buying super expensive exotic cars, traveling first class worldwide and trying to buy a $50+ million dollar jet, you need to reevaluate where you are worshipping and what you are supporting. God teaches us to judge what we see by the fruit that is produced. Is Jessie producing all of the fruit he could with the resources that are being provided to him? God will judge accordingly one day.
