Yeah I've used it since beginning of the game and I leveled it up the most.

Finally killed the pricks! I two-handed my Halberd, which didn't do as much damage as the club but it was a faster attack. And I equipped the grass crest shield on my back so I can recover stamina faster.
It felt great to finally beat them!
