Born raised in Fairhope and is where I currently reside. I've never made that claim. When people ask where Fairhope is, I usually say across the bay from Mobile and or about 30-40 from GS/ OB

Eastern Shore rocks - Point Clear is my happy place.
Also Mobile isn't as bad as people make it out to be, and most of my friends that do live there make it to the beach on a quite lot of weekends during the summer.
